You're Hosting a Corporate Event—Now What?

It's the beginning of the new year and business competition is fierce. Your company is growing quickly. Your employees and management teams have tons of ideas to make your enterprise move in a positive growth-oriented direction.

You want to create an event that will highlight how to work smarter, provide stronger professional relationships and take your business to new heights. Maybe all you need is a small-scale meeting, an informative seminar or panel discussion— or perhaps you want to have a full-blown offsite corporate retreat.

Not sure how or where to begin? Let our team of professional business event staff help you bring your team to the level of excellence that your company deserves. We’ll show you how to set it up and get the most out of your event. We’ll help you make it productive, interesting, informative and fun—all within a budget that works for you.

We’re a one-stop-shop with our IACC certified state-of-the-art conference center, comfortable accommodations and award-winning cuisine matched by none—all within a stunning historic campus. We asked our sales manager, Amy Krum, to pull together a checklist for you to get started—a “10-point punch list” of questions, concepts and creative ideas for you to use as a guide when researching your location with Normandy Farm.

Gather the details: How many guests? What are your dates? How many meeting rooms will you need? Do you need any breakout space? Will you need overnight rooms?

Let Experts Help: Call one of our experienced sales managers directly at (215) 616-8500, or request a quote here to guide you expertly through your planning process.

Come in for a tour: We highly recommend a visit to Normandy Farm. The campus must be seen to be believed, and we want you to get a better feel of your guest experience as you walk the space with our sales manager.

Dinner & happy hour: Keeping the troops energized and fed is crucial to the success of any meeting. Make sure you have all of your meals covered while here. We have comprehensive food and beverage plans.

Team building activities & golf: Professional relationships need to be developed and nurtured. We have some very creative and fun team-building sessions using culinary, golf or game show techniques.

Overnight accommodations and room amenities: What better way to maintain the energy level of your staff? We suggest sending a room list 30 days prior to your meeting. Pamper your VIP guests with our hotel room amenities.

Transportation: How will your guests be arriving to our property? Parking is free, and our complimentary shuttle can go within 8 miles. Insider tip: Discounts are available from preferred transportation vendors to and from Philadelphia International Airport.

Dietary restrictions & entrée counts: Find out what your party counts are and if any attendees have allergies or special restrictions and we’ll do the rest. We cater to each guest’s special needs, and our chef can prepare any special meals for your group.

Final details: Once you provide a final guest count for each event, room setup and any additional audiovisual needs, let our IT specialists and our point of contact person take it from there to assist you during your event.

Finishing touches: Our onsite florist Willow and Thistle and Tyler Boye Photography can assist with custom room setup, including linens, floral or nonfloral centerpieces, uplighting, event styling and photography.

“We know how important a productive business event is to a growing company. We pride ourselves in making sure things go off without a hitch. We really love what we do here at Normandy Farm, and we think our guests see that from the moment we greet them until that last wave goodbye,” says Amy with a smile.
